Wrong for California

In 2012 and 2014 voters across California sent 12 targeted Republican Congressional incumbents and challengers packing. In 2016, California Republican House members and candidates are running on the Trump ticket, and we're not giving them a free ride. If we're going to take back the House and end the Tea Party's divisive rule, it has to start by defeating extreme Republicans right here in California.

What you need to know

Denham is a career politician who quickly became comfortable with the trappings of power as a newly elected member of the Republican Tea Party class of 2010. In fact, a day before Denham had even been sworn into office in Washington, he threw a lavish, over-the-top fundraiser where lobbyists and campaign fundraisers paid up to $50,000 to feast on hors d’oeuvres and watch a private performance by country music singer LeAnn Rimes.

Denham is out of touch with the Central Valley. He has no problem embracing a presidential candidate who launched his campaign by attacking hard-working immigrants. Following Trump’s lead, Denham voted with other extreme House Republicans to send an amicus brief to the Supreme Court that would in effect tear apart immigrant families.
